20,000 Trees planted in Kenya!

Welcome and thank you to our new friends at Good Samaritan Support Action!

Good Samaritan Support Action (GOSSA) is a community based organization in Nairobi, Kenya, established in 2016. Their multifold mission includes providing education for the poor and assisting vulnerable groups with income generating projects.

One such project supports local farmers in growing and expanding their crops, especially in urban and rural dryland areas. Through this endeavor, they were able to plant thousands of fruit trees to improve the health and nutrition of the local people.

Susan, a representative of GOSSA said, “We planted trees on behalf of the community to address issues of conservation and food security through agroforestry, by conserving the environment and increasing the food produce. We need to conserve the environment by planting indigenous trees.”

One of GOSSA’s goals is to develop tree nurseries.
