A whisper from the woods

A letter from our global director, Hans Timpner

Oct 26, 2022

Hello everybody,

As you are aware, it has fallen into my domain to run the Global Tree Initiative as the global director. So, let me first of all, thank everyone for the energy and effort that you have put into the success of this worthwhile cause initiated by Tenzin Ösel Hita back in 2019.

Hans, together with Tenzin Ösel and friends in the USA; 2019.

GTI has grown tremendously since then. There is a small group of dedicated individuals behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly.

We are preparing for a new phase. Global Tree Initiative, Phase Two. Firm ground for solid growth. A phase where we’ll strengthen and solidify our current projects, while working towards opening new avenues.
As you know, our annual fundraiser is just around the corner, starting November 1.

During our fundraising campaign, we’ll have two major events. On November 5 and November 12 we will have the opportunity to hear from Ven. Robina Courtin and Tenzin Ösel Hita, respectively. The importance of community building and collective action are some of the topics that will be addressed.

Please share this information with your friends, family, and local groups. Ask them to register for these talks and feel free to donate whatever amount you feel is appropriate.

Stay tuned, for we are preparing interesting content to be shared over the next few weeks. We want to show you how much we have grown, thanks to all of us! Besides, we want to give you an idea of what is coming. Exciting times are coming!

Thank you so much for all your efforts.
Together we can create a conscious, wise, warm-hearted world of peace, where people respect and live in harmony with animals and the environment.

Thanks and Saludos,
Hans Timpner

If your organization do you have an office , a project or a focal point in Ethiopia where African Union, Economic Commission for Africa is based. I want to be part of this initiative if there is any project or partnership in Ethiopia
