Cause for a happier, harmonious world of peace
On January 10, 2021, students and faculty of Maitripa College offered a Golden Sky Tower Ginkgo and Vanessa Persian Ironwood towards environmental restoration, a clean environment, and dedicated to the long lives of the 14th Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Yangsi Rinpoche, and Tenzin Ösel Hita.
“We are so happy to have been able to participate in Global Tree Initiative’s cause for a happier, harmonious world of peace. Each time we enter the building at Maitripa and see the beautiful golden leaves of the ginkgo and the red, green, yellow, colored leaves of the ironwood we will remember our dedication to helping preserve our environment, to preserve this planet for the well-being of all, and most importantly to the long lives of our precious teachers.”
