“Green Cameroon” plants and dedicates 350 trees!

A warm welcome to Cameroon, for becoming country number 56 to join us!

Njam Willibroad Musuh from Green Cameroon tells us about their recent tree-planting activity. Together with the governor of the Western region and the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection, and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED), 350 Royal Palm trees were planted! The trees were planted in the town of Bafoussam, in celebration of World Environment Day.

“Join Green Cameroon and be part of the change!” Njam tells us!

Thank you, Green Cameroon, for sharing this story and for making our planet a greener, healthier home. We appreciate your work!

Green Cameroon is a small NGO in Buea, a Western Cameroon city, that works towards environmental protection. It was founded in 2003 by a group of young Cameroonians who felt concerned about the level of environmental degradation.

Have a look at the Green Cameroon website to learn about the inspiring work they are doing!

Remember to tell us about your tree-planting activity.  Your story will inspire others to do the same!
