Meet Jérémy Arusi Adeba, our new branch coordinator for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

Jeremy, from the area of Goma, DRC, heard about the Global Tree Initiative (GTI) through Ralph Doe, our tree-planting friend from the UK.

Ralph Doe met the GTI through an FPMT Eco-Dharma meeting, organized by our UK Branch coordinator, Rowena Field!

Incredible, right?

Jeremy has a big passion for trees, and an even bigger vision! He has planted many trees in the DRC, in collaboration with Extinction Rebellion and a project called UTEJM. Plus, he intends on planting 250 million trees by 2030!

Just recently, Jeremy and his community planted 50 trees, in celebration of Earth Day. These trees were sponsored by Ralph Doe.

“I am very delighted to join a large, global family, to fight against global warming and planting trees. This is a noble job that I dream of, so I want to serve the family until the end of my days with courage and love.” Jeremy tells us.

Welcome to our team, Jeremy. We are happy to have you here and we are excited about your big plans! We are inspired by you!

Reach out to Jeremy and ask him how you can get involved with tree-planting in his area!

Please share this. Thank you!
