School children in Tahiti plant ten trees to SAVE THEIR FUTURE and the futures of those to come!

Belinda Hui from Tahiti tells us how their youth is planting trees to save the lives of our future generations!

Pupils of the Taimoana Elementary School recently planted fruit trees in their schoolโ€™s courtyard.

The student planted with clear intentions and motivations:
– Planting to save the future generations to come,
– Giving back to the earth what the earth gives us,
– In solidarity for a sustainable island.

The tree-planting was lead by Nathalie Erhardt, and in partnership with Nana plastic bags, PoiHere te Natura, Un Enfant un arbre un coral, the Petits Ateliers Mindfulness, and the NGO Peace and Benevolence in action.

Thank you so much for sharing this inspiring story, Belinda! We are so happy to see that our youth is acting towards making our planet a healthier, greener home!

We want to hear from YOU!

What tree planting activities are you doing with your local youth? Please, tell us your story here.
