Welcome to our new partner, Devrai

We are excited and honored to announce our new Global Tree Initiative (GTI) partner; Devrai from India!

Devrai, meaning “Sacred Grove” is founded by an inspiring gentleman named Mr. Raghunath Dhole. You may recall reading about Mr. Dhole last year, when he won the state-level ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vanshree Award’.

This amazing Sacred Grove project is supported by several Devrai volunteers and trustees, as well as Mrs. Veena Dhole, the wife of Mr. Raghunath Dhole.

Together with Devrai, the GTI will work on inspiring projects such as creating educational content together, hosting educational webinars to promote the Sacred Grove projects, and much more.

A very big thank you to Mr. Dhole for this opportunity to work together, and to our GTI India community for introducing us to this remarkable gentleman.

We are very excited to work together and to learn from you, Mr. Dhole!

Have a look at the Devrai website to learn more about Mr. Dhole’s inspiring project, and about how sacred groves work.
