Welcome to the team, Georges!

We are very happy to announce that Georges Piette has taken the role of Universal Clear Light and Global Tree Initiative Board Member. Please join us in welcoming Georges to the team!

Born in France and raised in Brazil where he graduated in Architecture and Urbanism (FAU-USP), Georges has made New York his home for over 40 years.

A few years ago, Georges opened Yogis & Yoginis, a yoga studio in his neighbourhood, Park Slope, where he was joined by the Shantideva Center, a centre in the same building affiliated with the FPMT, dedicated to the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism.

Georges shares that “after many years spent in the construction of the studio which mission is to create a safe and inspiring space in order to grow one’s physical and spiritual practice, this place has made my life a joyful and meaningful one”.

Welcome to your new role, we are delighted to have you onboard Georges!

Please share this. Thank you!
