Farmtastic Farms plants and dedicates 200 trees in Nigeria
Meet Imam Maiyaki, our tree-planting friend from Nigeria! Imam is a writer, a researcher, a passionate tree-planter, and also the founder of Farmtastic Farms!
Recently, Imam dedicated 200 trees, and became the first planter from Nigeria to join our global community.
His project, Farmtastic Farms, is focused on high-quality, sustainable food technology, production, and security.
One of the Farmtastic Farms’ projects, is the Green CommuniTree project – a project revolving around tree planting activity, and focused on both people and the natural environment. Imam says that the project combats climate change and global warming while creating a thriving environment for people and animals.
The Global Tree Initiative is in the process of establishing a fruitful partnership with Farmtastic Farms. Imam also agreed to be our first regional coordinator for Nigeria! Stay tuned to our newsletter, to see how our partnership evolves.
Have a look at Farmastic Farms’ website, to learn more about what Imam is doing, and how you can get involved.
Thank you for sharing your story and for your interest in the Global Tree Initiative, Imam! We are excited to learn from you and work with you!
