Update from our planting partner in Jamyang, England: The Woodlands Project!

Last year, our team in the UK planted 250 trees. This year, they plan to plant even more!

β€œAs we begin to head towards our second tree planting season in the Autumn, we wanted to share some updates from the Jamyang Woodland Project. Above, a photo of what the site looks like now – still a lot of stakes and tubes but with some greenery peeping out too!

Our partner organization, Make it Wild, has been checking on the trees, making sure the stakes are OK, and watering the saplings in the very dry period earlier in the summer. Fortunately, all seems to be going well!

In terms of numbers, 250 trees have been planted so far and we have 260 trees already sponsored and waiting to be planted this Autumn. After that, there is space on the site for about another 200 trees. If those trees can be sponsored and planted during this Autumn and Winter too, that would be brilliant!”

The planting of the sponsored trees will happen on the 27th of November.
