WYD Global Race, an event by JMJ Lisboa 2023

The second edition of the WYD Global Race is just around the corner. From October 20 to 23, lace your shoes and join this worldwide event.

This race is an event by the JMJ Lisboa 2023 Foundation.

The main goal will be to reduce the carbon footprint of the WYD. If you choose to participate, you will be contributing to reforesting degraded land in Portugal, thanks to a partnership made with Arouca Geopark and sponsorship by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa.

Every tree planted will then be dedicated to JMJ Lisboa 2023, on the Global Tree Initiative’s global map.

How does it work?

It is very simple! You can choose where you race and for how long. You can also choose if you’re walking, running, or plogging!

You will find this event on our calendar!

Learn everything you need to know about this event here.

“Join us on this mission to run for a better world.”

Thank you to the JMJ Lisboa 2023 Foundation for this incredible initiative. And thank you to all those who have registered already!

Please share this. Thank you!
